Well I have been up in Watertown at the "White house" for a little over a week with the kids, dogs and I and what a time it was! I got up two Fridays ago and the house was a mess of boxes and just stuff all around! A bit overwhelming with a 4 month old and 3 year old to say the least!
This post will be filled with pictures more then words since I currently have a sick little baby boy on my hands and he is currently napping so this is my time to get a few things done!
Our "White House" as Scarlett calls it, she thinks it is so funny that we live in a house that looks like a church! haha

I got up to Watertown on Friday late afternoon, the 27th of January. It wasn't too fun to walk into a house full of boxes but once I got both kids down I got started right away with the opening of boxes since the moving company was coming in less then a week (the next Thursday morning) to pick up all the boxes!
My dad came up Saturday evening and left Sunday afternoon. I was singing his praises for all the work he got down while up at the house! He put new locks on the doors annnnd hooked up my washer/dryer which proved to be VERY helpful as poor Scarlett woke up Sunday night throwing up for the first time all over (she was pretty much all better Monday morning but we took it easy Monday....as in we didn't go anywhere and I just unpacked!). Yankee got loose one morning and I was pretty nervous since we live on a VERY busy street...he came back just fin in about forty minutes AND filthy! So I used the washer/dryer then too. And I forgot to bring night time diapers for Zachary so I used huggies...NEVER AGAIN! I had to change outfits/sheets/blankets every night for three nights before I finally went out and got pampers overnights! And the huggies gave him a bit of a rash too!
Anyways, I was thankful for my dads visit and all the work he put in and for his company of course! You should also know he helped me set up the guest bed soooo visitors are officially welcome! I have heard many negative things about Watertown and how it is depressed but so far I LOVE the area and the people in it! Lots to do and see!!!
Scarlett the morning after being sick reading to HER baby. She was very excited to read all the books and play with all the toys she hasn't seen since we moved from Alabama in July! Talk about Christmas all over again!
Here are a few before and after pictures of the house (I am still far away from having any organization but there aren't any boxes any more and it is starting to look like our house again!):
The Kitchen
The Dining Room
The Living Room
The dogs LOVE this window!
The Guest Room...still looks like this minus the boxes...and there is a children's book nest in the middle of the floor from Scarlett finding all her long lost books!
And the room I am so far most proud of and excited for? Scarlett's Room! (It still needs new curtains, a few more decorations that I haven't finished yet and a dresser/headboard.)
The Toy Room/ Craft Room.
...still needs some work but at least there is room to play!
She is a happy girl in her white house!
The Downstairs Bathroom.
I found these great polka dot shower curtain and towels on sale and we love them!
This picture brings us to Sunday night at around 7:40PM. I put a soon to be sick baby boy to sleep around 6:30 and about 15 minutes later I decided rather then wait for the morning to head back down to my parents we would leave then so I could have two sleeping children and it would only take a little over 4 hours rather then close to 5 since I wouldn't have to stop. After Scarlett finished brushing her teeth she saw me put the dogs into the car and this is when I informed her that we were leaving. She was surprised but fine with us leaving. I got in just after midnight after the Giants won the Super Bowl and I was very tired but very happy I chose to leave then when the kiddos could sleep!

Monday, Tuesday and Today we have seriously just hung low and welcomed the rest! Little Zacharoo is still sick...coughing/runny nose and eyes/no voice and just a sad pea. Thursday, tomorrow we are supposed to head to PA to visit a few good friends and sleep over until Friday, but determining on Zach my mom and Scarlett may be the only ones going on that road trip! This past Saturday I was also crazy enough to through a baby shower for my awesome friend April up in Watertown but I will post on that another day since Zachary should be waking soon for some cuddles!
